For over seven years we published articles on “The Blog”, at StrategyOnline.co.za/blog.
Topics ranged from fairly technical, to very technical, to completely nontechnical. With over 1,000 posts written over almost 8 years, The Blog achieved a fair amount of success. At one point it was in the top 20 most visited blogs in South Africa. It generated a lot of traffic for our company, served as a conduit through which we met some incredible people, and most of all – it was fun.
But as StrategyOnline “grew up” as a business, so The Blog evolved to something more structured, more focused, more business orientated. More safe.
The last half of 2012 was a significant time for our company. It marked the beginning of a transition. A gradual, deliberate transformation. A restructure, rethink, and reposition of who we are as a company, what our brand offers and represents, and what we want to become moving forward.
After months of deliberation, and numerous attempts to somehow port The Blog into our new evolving vision, we finally took the decision to discontinue the old blog altogether.
Thank you to everyone who participated on the old blog over the past seven years. It was a great experience for us. We look forward to engaging with you here, on our main site, in the coming chapters of our story.
