Downloading your bank statements
This tutorial assumes that you have successfully installed
Personal Money Manager onto your computer. If you have not yet done so, then please read the tutorial titled
Installing Money Manager before proceeding.
To download your bank statements to your computer, simply proceed as follows.
First, login to Nedbank Internet Banking. On the All Balances screen, click on the account number that you wish to download, as indicated below...
You will then be taken to your Statement screen for the selected account, as shown below. At the bottom of your Statement, you will see a droplist, as indicated below...
Use this droplist to export your statement in CSV format, as shown here...
You need to save your bank statements into the right place, in order for Personal Money Manager to find them on your computer. This is very important, and is the most common problem which we encounter.
Inside your "My Documents" folder, you will now find a new folder called "My Bank Statements". Do not save your statements there.
You will find separate sub-folders inside your "My Bank Statements" folder, for each account which you add to Personal Money Manager. For example, if you have three accounts set up in Personal Money Manager, then your "My Bank Statements" folder will look something like this...
You need to save the statements for each of your accounts into the correct sub-folder, or they will not be imported.
