I haven’t checked my RSS reader in a couple of days, so this morning I’m doing things differently. I’m quickly scanning through my reader and jotting down interesting stuff that I want to check out. Then during the day I’ll work my way through this list.
- Dates have now been announced for the Australian Clarion DevCon. And I see my friend Stu has taken on the Aussie Devcon website this year – you can spot his awesome sense of humor from a mile off. I see Russ is doing some training, and no doubt my former colleagues from CapeSoft will be involved. Robert Zaunere will obviously be the highlight – here’s hoping that the C7 AppGen will be demonstrated this year..
- TechRepublic has a good article on 10 common grammar mistakes.
- Internet Explorer 8 is now available in beta (hopefully it’s not as rubbish as IE7), as is FireFox 3.0 beta 4.
- This looks like a site worth checking out – I gather they provide maps of South Africa, which can also be embedded on other websites for free! Nice..
- Apparently there’s a freaken awesome new tool available to listen to and record South African radio streams! What a fantastic idea!!
Check out Tectonic, SouthAfrica.info, or the products homepage at www.AmaRadio.co.za. - The past couple of days everyone has been talking about Carte Blanche’s recent program on Web 2.0, and how
rubbishinteresting it was. I missed the show, but it can now be watched over at charlnorman.com. Thanks Charl! And congrats for being featured! - Peak Performances have announced details on the upcoming Karen Zoid gig! I also noticed this really cool pic of Rouvanne. I think I was in the office with him when that was taken. And no, it’s not real. It’s just some freaken amazing makeup.
Those 7 items jumped out at me. More to follow when I take my mid-morning break. I only got to bed at 4am this morning, so I’m feeling a tad lousy today.
Oh yes, you may notice that I’m using a new theme on the blog. I changed the theme at 2:30 this morning.

Thanks for the link back bud
