I am also checking it out.
Looks neat maybe will get me into updating my Blog again
I’ve been using BlogDesk since April 2006, about a month after I started a Blog for my company. Actually, it was a couple things Gary wrote in his blog that inspired me to start blogging, including a tip about reading blogs directly in Opera. However, I wasn’t too excited about the WordPress editor, and that led me a search of an offline editor, and ultimately, BlogDesk.
One of BlogDesk best features, IMHO, is displaying images. The author is responsive, and can’t remember where I read this – maybe an interview with someone – but Johannes Oppermann said he created the user interface to be as friendly as possible so people like his elderly father could easily use it. Personally, I think he accomplished that goal.

Hi Guys.

Thanks for the comments Dave!! Wow!! Sometimes I wonder if anyone out there actually reads this stuff . It’s weird, I go through weeks where I get lots of emails about my blog, then for weeks at a time it gets really quiet and I wonder if I’m writing to myself . I lost my dad when I was 12, and I now have two young kids, so I often think that this blog will be a nice resource for them later on in life if they ever want to gain an insight into the things that kept me busy at this stage in my life.
I love the image functionality in BlogDesk as well.. Especially the fact that you can paste images straight from the clipboard.. In the past I was having to create the image in Fireworks, then FTP it up.. Took way too long.. BlogDesk really helps with that.
