November has been an AWESOME month for StrategyOnline. Our company has changed gears dramatically. We have moved into new spaces, both technically, as well as physically.
I’ll be blogging about these changes over the remaining weeks of 2011. And to kick things off, will start with the following announcement…
StrategyOnline is now operating out of new offices, located in the Somerset West CBD!
We have been based in Somerset West for the past 6 years, but have been largely a virtual company, with two staff members operating out of my home office, and the rest of our team operating remotely.
Earlier this year we looked at setting up a physical “head office” in Johannesburg, as most of our South African clients are based there. We ultimately decided against the move though, and instead focused our attention on Techno Park – a business park located between Somerset West and Stellenbosch, which many consider to be the new IT hub in South Africa – a sort of “African Silicon Valley” if you like.
But after much deliberation, we ultimately decided that the Somerset West CBD was the right move for our company at this time. We are 30 minutes from Cape Town, 20 minutes from the airport, and 10 minutes from Techno Park. It really is the perfect location for the next chapter of StrategyOnline.
